Erma Derden Hunter 

DAWSON — Erma Derden Hunter, 72, of Dawson, died on Saturday, July 14, 2007 at 
Palmyra Medical Centers. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. today 
(Monday) at the First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Charles Leverett 
officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. 

Mrs. Hunter was born in Lennox, GA, on August 12, 1935 daughter of the late 
Horace Jackson Derden and Sally Mae Edwards Derden. Mrs. Hunter has lived in 
Terrell County for the past 52 years. She was a homemaker and a member of First 
Assembly of God Church. 

Survivors include her husband, Arthur L. Hunter; a daughter, Mary Ellen Harnage 
and Timothy Griffin; two sons, Arthur Louis Hunter Jr. wife, Sarah, and Tommy 
Hunter and wife, Louise of Preston, GA; one sister, Lillian McBride of Rebecca; 
one brother, Leonard Cook of Attapulgus, GA; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-
grandchildren.
