The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today (Monday) at the Holy Spirit Episcopal Church, with the Revs. Freeman G. Cross Jr., Fred Collins and Mavis Lark Moore officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Mr. Jett was a native of Morgan Co., AL, born October 18, 1929, son of the late Seybron Jett and Criner Patterson Jett. He was a retired Chief M/Sgt. with the U.S. Air Force, a veteran of the Korean and Viet Nam conflicts and retired with 31 years of service. He had been a resident of Dawson since 1992 moving here from Birmingham, AL. He was a member and past President of the Golden Kawanis Club and the Terrell Co. Historical Preservation Society; a member of the P.T. Schley Masonic Lodge No. 229, a member of the Scottish Rite and Hasan Shrine Temple of Albany. He was a volunteer driver for the Shriner's Hospital; a member of the Terrell Co. V.F.W. Post No. 5743, a member of the Holy Spirit Episcopal Church.
