Esmerelda A. Johnson

DONALSONVILLE — Esmerelda A. Johnson, 83, of Donalsonville, died Monday, 
January 13, 2003, at Miller County Hospital.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at Spring Creek Baptist Church with 
interment in the church cemetery. The Rev. Gerald Hollis will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Truett Johnson, Bob Johnson, Gabe Trawick, Shane Trawick, 
Tony Johnson, and Lamar Blackburn.

A native of Seminole County, Mrs. Johnson was born September 26, 1919. She was 
the owner and operator of Johnson Grocery for 30 years. She was a member of 
Spring Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl 
Milton Johnson.

Survivors include two daughters, Dianne Trawick and son-in-law Gordon of Iron 
City, and Kathy Johnson of Donalsonville; two sons, Danny Johnson and daughter-
in-law Elaine, and Bo Johnson, all of Donalsonville; seven grandchildren, 
Stephanie Mims, Rachel Johnson, Truette Johnson, Gabe Trawick, Shane Trawick, 
Mistee Johnson and Bob Johnson; three great-grandchildren, Will Mims, Katibeth 
Mims and Ansley Trawick.
