The Albany Herald - Obituaries
Floyd Buford Jones, Winifred Rd, died Monday October 15, 2007 at Albany Health 
Care. His funeral service will be 11AM (today) Wednesday at Northgate 
Presbyterian Church with interment in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in 
Franklin, GA at 4 PM. 

A native Rock Castle County, KY, Mr. Jones grew up in Atlanta and had moved to 
Albany 12 years ago. He was retired from General Motors working in Quality 
Control and was a member of Northgate Presbyterian Church. 

Survivors include his wife, Rachel V. Jones, Albany; daughters, Rita Gayton and 
her husband Carigan, Linda Shadburn and Rhonda Collins all of Cumming; son 
William Jones and his wife Denise of Cumming, also daughters, Rebecca Warren of 
Dahlonega, Beverly Engelhardt of Lake City, FL, sons, William Leonard Wood and 
his wife Denice of Monroe, and Timothy Wood and his wife Regina of Cape Coral, 
FL, 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and brother in law James Kirk and 
his wife Joyce of Albany.

Dawson Rd, Albany, GA 31721.
