Kimbrell Stern Obituaries
Date of Birth: April 13, 1923  
Date of Death: June 21, 2007  

Evelyn Kirkland, 84, died Thursday, June 21, 2007 in Fortson, GA. The funeral 
service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday at Kimbrell-Stern with interment to 
follow in Riverside Cemetery with Rev. Phil Pye officiating. 

A native of Worth County, Ms. Kirkland had lived in Albany for most of her 
life. She was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church and the Golden Key Club. Ms. 
Kirkland was preceded in death by her Mother Ollie Teresa Heath and 
Granddaughter Kimberly Teresa Pye. Ms. Kirkland is survived by her two 
daughters, Lois B. Yon of Albany, and Lorine K. Pye and her husband Phil of 
Fortson; four grandchildren, Michael Kerce, Rhonda Tyson, Jamie Royal, all of 
Albany, and Kevin Bradshaw of Fortson; seven great-grandchildren, Victoria 
Kerce, Teresa Kerce, Stephen Kerce, Brittnie Tyson, Devan Tyson, and Macy 
Bradshaw. 

The family will receive friends at Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Directors Saturday 
from 6:00 to 8:00PM and will be at the residence of Mrs. Lois Yon 2615 
Evergreen Rd. Doerun, GA. Pallbearers will be Michael Kerce, Kevin Bradshaw, 
Brad Royal, Glenn Tyson, and Steve Buckhalter. Three honorary pallbearers 
Stephen Kerce, Payton Royal, and Phil Pye. 

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday at Kimbrell-Stern with 
interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery with Rev. Phil Pye officiating.The 
family will receive friends at Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Directors Saturday from 
6:00 to 8:00PM
