Rev. Philip Pearson will officiate. Interment will follow in Andersonville National Cemetery with full military Honors. Mr. Kyle was born July 31, 1923 in Boonville, Missouri, served in the U.S. Navy for twenty-five years, including attachments to the U.S. Marine Corp. and the U.S. Army, during WWII. He received numerous metals including two Presidential Citations. After retirement from the Navy he was employed for seventeen years at the V.A. Hospital in Washington, D.C. in medical research. He was a Red Cross volunteer at the Bethesda Naval Hospital for thirteen years. In 1999 he moved to Albany and enjoyed his remaining years with friends and family. Mr. Kyle was a member of Harvest Temple church of God and was a greeter there for several years. He belonged to the Guadalcanal Veterans, American Legion, Fleet Reserve and was an avid stamp collector. He will be missed by his wife of sixty-two years, Trudy Kyle of Albany, three children, Dawn Hardy (Michael) of Albany, Rebecca Bush (Roger) of Tulsa, OK and Timothy Kyle (Karen) of Portage, MI, seven grandchildren, Dorea Hardy, Kellie Seaman, Stacy Graham, Iain, Erin, Lauren and Kaylin Kyle and three great- grandchildren, Benjamin and Taylor Seaman and Bostic Graham.
