Wilhelmina Lashley

ALBANY — Wilhelmina Lashley, 80, of Holly Drive died Wednesday, October 16, 
2002, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sunnyside Baptist 
Church with the Rev. John Townsend and the Rev. Bobby Moye officiating. The 
graveside service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta 
with the Rev. Tim Hunter and the Rev. John Townsend officiating.

A native of Greenville, S.C., Mrs. Lashley lived in Atlanta most of her life 
moving to Albany in 1994. She was a retired bookkeeper and a member of 
Sunnyside Baptist Church where she was a member of the Fidelis Sunday School 
Class. Mrs. Lashley was also a member of the Eastern Star and Golden Key.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Lashley and her daughter, Nita 
Smith.

Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Lashley of Albany; daughter and son-in-
law, Jane and Lyonel Morgan of Monroe; brother and sister-in-law, Maynard and 
Clydene Nalley Jr. of Lawrenceville; sister and brother-in-law, Fran and Bill 
Waites of Alpharetta; grandchildren, Wilhelmina Elizabeth Walker, Bobby Smith 
and Bryan Smith; three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends today from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Loganville, GA 30052.
