William Samuel Lawson
August 04, 1990 - August 11, 2007

William Samuel (Sam) Lawson, 17, of Cobb, GA died Saturday August 11, 2007 at 
his residence. 

The remains have been cremated and a private service will be held at a later 
date. A native and lifetime resident of Sumter County, Sam loved reading, music 
and his pets as well as bird watching. Sam also loved spending time with his 
friends and family. 

Survivors include his parents George and Brenda Lawson of Cobb, GA, maternal 
grandparents, Pete and Betty McGlamery of Cobb, GA, paternal grandparents Ella 
Lawson of Johnson City, TN and the late Doug Lawson of Birmingham, AL, several 
special family members and many friends. In lieu of flowers those desiring 
please make donations to Desoto United Methodist Church or the American Red 
Cross, Americus Chapter.
