Doyle Leon Lentz

CAMILLA — Doyle L. Lentz, 66, of Baconton, died Sunday, November 3, 2002, at 
Albany Healthcare.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2002, at Parker-
Bramlett Funeral Home with burial in Mt. Enon Church Cemetery.

Born November 17, 1935, in Elco, Ill., Mr. Lentz was a veteran of the U.S. 
Army. He worked as a fireman for the city of Albany and retired as a captain 
after 23 years of service. Following his retirement, he served as a Georgia 
State Fire Marshall for eight years.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Lentz, of Baconton; two sons, Loren Lentz of 
Bronwood and Kyle Lentz of Leesburg; a stepdaughter, Teresa Unruh of Albany; 
two sisters, Maureen Thompson of Collinsville, Ill., and Ludene Thompson of 
Belleville, Ill.; and six grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6 p.m.-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Georgia State Firefighters Association, 50 Lincoln 
Road, McDonough, GA 30253.
