John C. MacAskill

ALBANY — John C. MacAskill, 60, of Albany died Thursday, January 30, 2003, at 
his residence.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, 2 PM at Covenant Presbyterian Chapel. 
Dr. William D. Coker will officiate.

A native of Chicago, IL, Mr. MacAskill was a graduate of York Community High 
School in Elmhurst, IL, in June 1960 and graduated from Massey Law College in 
Chicago, IL, in June 1968. He moved to Albany and began practicing law in 1989.

He is survived by his wife, Rita MacAskill of Albany; daughters, Kelly 
MacAskill and Meghan MacAskill, both of Albany and a sister, Jane Vaupel of 
Chicago, IL.

The family will receive friends following the service at Covenant Presbyterian 
Church.

In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to the Albany Community Hospice, P.O. 
Box 1828, Albany, GA 31702.
