Salvatore Giuseppe Magaddino

ALBANY — Salvatore Giuseppe "Joey" Magaddino, 44, of Albany died Saturday.

His funeral service will be Thursday 10 A.M. at St. Teresa's Catholic Church 
with entombment to follow at Crown Hill Mausoleum. The Rev. Jacek Szuster will 
officiate.

A native of Castellamare Del Golfo, Sicily, Italy, he had lived in Albany for 
over ten years. He was a raised in the Catholic faith. In Albany, he worked 
with his family at Picnic Pizza.

Survivors include his parents, Giuseppe and Rosa Magaddino of Nashville, TN; 
three brothers, Vito Magaddino and his wife Josephine of Albany, Vincent 
Magaddino and his wife Maria, of Staten Island, NY, Sammy Magaddino and his 
wife Bonnie of Nashville, TN; three sisters, Caterina Oliveri and her husband 
Salvatore of Nashville, TN, Gina Mannino and her husband Vinnie of Albany, Sara 
LaMattina and her husband Angelo of Nashville, TN; 17 nieces and nephews; eight 
great-nieces and nephews.

A prayer service will be recited at Kimbrell-Stern Wednesday at 6 p.m. with 
visitation to follow.

Those desiring may send donations to St. Teresa's Catholic Church, 421 Edgewood 
Lane, Albany, GA 31707.
