The funeral service of Riley Benjamin (R.B.) Maxwell 86, of Gillionville Road 
Albany, GA., who died Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at Palmyra Nursing Home, will be 
conducted 3:00 P.M. Friday June 22, 2007 at Mathews Funeral Home. Dr. William 
H. Sims III and Rev. Ronald Barrett will officiate. Interment will follow in 
Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery. The Brothers In Christ Sunday School Class will 
serve as honorary pallbearers. 

A native of Wilcox Co., GA., Mr. Maxwell had resided in Albany since 1959 
moving from Dothan, AL.  He was a retired District Manager with Flowers Baking 
Company, a member of Byne Memorial Baptist Church and a member of the Brothers 
in Christ Sunday School Class.  Mr. Maxwell was a WWII Air Force Veteran and a 
member of The VFW Post #2785.  He was also a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason,  
a member of Pythagoras Lodge # 659 F & AM and Hasan Shrine Center.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Maxwell of Albany, a son, Kirby Ben 
Maxwell of Macon, two sisters, Inez Mercer and Estie Howell both of Moultrie, 
GA, two granddaughters, Rachel Johnson and Jennifer Maxwell and several nieces 
and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Mathews 
Funeral Home.
