Marie Elizabeth McDonald

ALBANY — Marie Elizabeth McDonald, 68, of Newton died Sunday, October 6, 2002, 
at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Hall & Hall Funeral 
Chapel with the Rev. Bruce Smith officiating. Interment will be at Floral 
Memory Gardens.

Mrs. McDonald was a native of Macon, Georgia, and had lived in Newton for the 
past 15 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Pine Cliff Baptist Church in 
Camilla and a member of the Women's Sunday school class. She was well loved by 
family and friends and a was a devoted Christian.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Joe McDonald of Newton, Ga.; son, Dallas 
Smith and wife, Judy of Sylvester, Ga.; daughters, Terry Cawthon of Camilla, 
Ga., and Debbie Baggett and husband, Dennis of Albany, Ga.; brother, Richard O. 
Massey and wife, Dorothy of Lizella, Ga.; grandchildren, Casey Baggett, Yancey 
Baggett, Dallas Smith Jr., Nicole Smith, Teresa Cawthon, Jennifer Cawthon, 
Carey Cawthon and Cliff Cawthon; five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 p.m. until 9 
p.m.
