Eva Mae McElvin

ARLINGTON — Eva Mae McElvin, 74, of Peacon Street, Arlington, died Monday, 
December 16, 2002, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at Hosley Chapel C.M.E. Church in Arlington 
with interment in Mt. Ebel Cemetery. The Rev. Tom Walker will officiate.

A native of Early County, Ms. McElvin was a homemaker. She received her 
education in 1947 graduating from the public school in Arlington. She was also 
a member of Hosley Chapel C.M.E. Church in Arlington.

Survivors include her mother, Julia Green of Arlington; two sons, Roy Gilbert 
of Jacksonville, Fla., and Eugene McElvin of Chattahoochee, Fla.; one brother, 
Clarence Fuller of Melbourne, Fla.; and three aunts and two uncles.
