The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, at Jordan Grove Baptist Church in Lee County with burial in Riverside Cemetery. The Rev. E.L. Wilson will officiate. A native of Dougherty County, Mrs. McFarland was a member of Jordan Grove Baptist Church, where she formerly served on the number two Usher Board and Missionary Choir. She was an organizer of the Pastor's Aide Club; Treasurer of number three Missionary Circle and was a Sunday School Teacher. She also was a member of Home Union Juvenile No. 35. She served as Worthy Matron of the International F & A.M. Mason and Eastern Stars, where she was a member for over 30 years. Survivors include a devoted niece and caretaker, Evelyn M. Lewis; nieces, Teresa L. Warner, Ruth Houston, and Janie Porter, all of Albany, and Ann Orr of New York City, NY; nephews, Fred B. (Carrie) Toney, Earnest Linkhorn, Roger (Ella) Linkhorn and Robert Linkhorn, all of Albany, and Booker T. (Katie) Linkhorn of Atlanta.
