Elizabeth Fraser McNamara

ALBANY — On November 9, 2002, Elizabeth Fraser McNamara, formerly of Decatur, 
GA, died at her home in Albany.

Mrs. McNamara had been a member of First Christian Church in Albany since 1989. 
She was a member of both Ruth Group and the Explorers Group; she also served as 
a deacon, was on the missions committee and was active in the prayer group. 
Prior to relocating in Albany, she was a member of Druid Hills Presbyterian 
Church in Decatur, GA. She had been active for many years in Beta Sigma Phi, 
NARFE, and Senior Friends at Palmyra.

Mrs. McNamara was predeceased by her husband, James McNamara, her sister, 
George Anna Fraser, and her two brothers, William Fraser and Keane Fraser. She 
is survived by a nephew, Robert Fraser of Decatur and two nieces, Patty Ann 
Hunlock of Douglasville, and Judy Fraser of New York City. She also leaves 
behind two goddaughters, Judge Carol Lougee of Madison, CT, and Pat Fleming of 
Nantucket, MA.

Services will be held at Kimbrell-Stern on Wednesday, 11 a.m. the Rev. Tommy 
Lowery officiating. Interment will be following in Westview Cemetery in 
Atlanta. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home on Tuesday between 
the hours of 6 p.m.-8 p.m.
