William Drew Morgan

     DAWSON — William Drew Morgan, 87,. of Graves, died Sunday, January 1, 2006 
at Dawson Manor Nursing Home.

The funeral service will be held at the  graveside  in  Cedar  Hill Cemetery  
at. 2  p.m.  today   (Tuesday) with Mike Davis officiating.

Mr. Morgan was born August 12,1918 in Terrell County, son of the late William 
Henry Morgan and Willie Bee Sealy Morgan. He was life long resident of Terrell
County, and retired from Dawson Motor Company with more than 40  years  in  
the  Service Department. He was a member of the Graves Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, 
Jeannette Mayo Morgan in May of 2005. Survivors include a daughter,Mickie 
Shattles and husband,Melvin of Graves; a son, William Franklin Morgan and 
family of Cordele;a brother,Roy  E.Morgan and wife, Blanche of Graves; two 
grandsons, Gene Shattles and wife, Bessie of Graves, and Wilson Shattles and
wife,Jenny  of  Parrott;  three great-grandchildren, Summer and Savannah 
Shattles of Parrott and Sky Shattles of Graves.

Memorials may be made to the Graves United Methodist Church, c/o Al Breedlove, 
2395 Doverel Hwy., Dawson, GA 39842 or to  Dawson Manor Nursing Home,
1159 Georgia Ave., SE, Dawson,GA 39842.
