The memorial service of William Ruel Morrison, Jr., 88, of Albany, who died 
Wednesday  June 13, 2007 at his residence, will be conducted Friday at 2:00 
p.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. The Very Rev. Mark S. Jones will officiate.

A native of Glenwood, GA., Mr. Morrison had resided in Albany for the past 
fifty five years and was an interior designer and owner of Morrison’s 
Interior’s. He was a veteran of WW II serving in the army, he had served on the 
boards of the Thronateeska Heritage, Theatre Albany, Albany Museum of Art and 
served on the vestry of St. Paul’s Episcopal where her was a communicant. He 
was preceded in death by his wife Martha Doughman Morrison.

Survivors include a son, William Ruel Morrison, III, New Orleans, LA., a 
sister, Dorothy Morrison Trimby, Atlanta, GA

The family will receive friends following services in the Parrish Hall of St. 
Paul’s Episcopal Church.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 212 N. 
Jefferson St., Albany, GA., 31701, Theatre Albany, 514 Pine Street, Albany, 
GA., 31701 or Thronateeska Heritage, 100 W. Roosevelt Ave., Albany, GA., 31701.
