Nelvie E. Nichols

ALBANY — The graveside funeral service of Nelvie E. (Nick) Nichols, 85, of Pine 
Ave., who died Monday, December 16, 2002, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. today 
at Riverside Cemetery. The Rev. Robert Beckum will officiate.

A native of Ben Hill County, Mr. Nichols had resided in Albany since 1934. He 
was a self-employed carpenter and was a member of Westminster Presbyterian 
Church.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth E. Nichols of Albany; two stepdaughters; 
three step grandchildren; four step great-grandchildren; and several nieces and 
nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kamp Kirksey, c/o First United 
Methodist Church, 307 Flint Ave., Albany, GA 31707, or the Salvation Army, 304 
W. Second Ave., Albany, GA 31701.
