                            Nelvie E. Nichols
 ALBANY--- The graveside funeral service for Nelvie E. (Nick) Nichols, 85, of 
501 Pine Avenue, who died Monday December 16, 2002, will be conducted at 
10:30am today at Riverside Cemetery. The Rev. Robert Beckum will officiate.
 A native of Ben Hill County, Mr. Nichols had resided in Albany since 1934. He 
was a self-employed carpenter and was a member of Westminister Presbyterian 
Church.
 Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth E. Nichols of Albany; two 
stepdaughters, three step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and 
several nieces and nephews.
 In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kamp Kirksey, c/o First United 
Methodist Church, 307 Flint Avenue, Albany, Ga. 31707 or the Salvation Army, 
304 W. Second Avenue, Albany, Ga. 31701.
