The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at First Monumental Faith Ministry with interment in Riverside Cemetery. The Rev. Roosevelt Carter will officiate. A native of Lee County, Mrs. Goodman-Offord was born May 7, 1934. She was a graduate of Lee County public schools and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Smithville and served on the usher board. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, James Offord of Albany; 10 daughters, Brenda Offord, Gloria Harris, Vickie Offord, Martha Ann Spry, Trenise Goodman, Patricia Goodman and Jacquelyn Offord, all of Albany, Doretha Dowdell and Mary Reese, both of DeSoto, Denese Williams of Detroit, Mich.; five sons, Raymond Jones, Ricky West, Cedric West, James Offord Jr. and Gerald Offord, all of Albany; three sisters, Bessie Foster of DeSoto, Geraldine Prophet and Carrie Walters, both of Leesburg; three brothers, Walter Goodman and Willie James Kent, both of Albany, Johnny Lee Kent of Leary; 34 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. The family of Mrs. Offord will receive friends and relatives at Meadows funeral Home from 7 p.m.- 8 p.m. today.
