The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. today at St. Teresa's Catholic Church with interment in Floral Memory Gardens. The Rev. Finbarr Stanton will officiate. A native of Durham, NC, Mr. O'Hare served six years in the US Navy, 14 years in the US Air Force and served during World War II and the Korean Conflict, retiring at Turner Air Force Base. He worked with civil service and retired after 16 years of employment. He was a member of St. Teresa's Catholic Church for over 40 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the local YMCA. Survivors include his wife, Jean Renzo O'Hare of Albany; two sons, James Robert O'Hare Jr. and wife Betty of Albany and Michael Anthony O'Hare of Leesburg; two daughters, Barbara O'Hare White and husband Roger of Albany, and Patricia O'Hare Taylor and husband Dwight of Gardendale, AL; seven grandchildren, Jamie Holland, David O'Hare, Derrek White, Kelly Taylor Prang, Todd White, Holly White, Kendall Taylor; two great-grandchildren, Joshua Prang and Abigal Prang; brother, Leo O'Hare of Burlington, NC. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to St. Teresa's Catholic Church, 421 Edgewood Lane, Albany, GA 31707, or Albany Community Hospice, P.O. Box 1828, Albany, GA 31702.
