R. Pattison, 76, 907 N. Monroe St. died Sunday morning in Montgomery, Ala at the home of her nephew, B. F. Chunn, after an illness of one year. Mrs. Pattison had made her home in Albany for the last 35 years. She was the former Miss Annie Pierce. Her husband preceded her in death 20 years ago. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Albany. Mrs. Pattison is survived by one sister, Mrs. Lilly P. Mims of Decatur, five nieces and five nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. in Covenant Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Marion G. Bradwell, pastor. Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery. The following gentlemen will serve as active pallbearers: Fred Sumter, Frank Wells, W. C. Bedenbaugh, W. RAy Wheeler, Emmett Heidt, John Ventulett, Everett Phelps and Hugh Shackleford. Honorary pallbearers will be A. T. Spies, Jake Ventulett, B. D. Bass, Carl Glass, Dr. Frank Neill, Ray Pinkston and Leo Leader. The body will be placed in the church from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour. The Albany Undertaking Company is in charge of arrangements.
