Walter James Parrish

ALBANY — The graveside funeral service of Walter James (Rat) Parrish, 62, of 
Gatewood Drive, Albany, who died Monday, December 23, 2002, will be conducted 
Thursday at 2 p.m. at Thundering Springs Cemetery. The Rev. Jimmy Hagadorn will 
officiate.

A native and lifelong resident of Albany, GA, Mr. Parrish was a truck driver 
and was of the Holiness faith.

Survivors include his wife, Irene Parrish of Albany; two sons, Frank Parrish 
and Cody Parrish, both of Albany; two stepsons, Curtis Toole of Chipley, FL, 
and Rusty Toole of Bonifay, FL; a stepdaughter, Barbara Tharp of Bonifay, FL; 
two brothers, Paul Parrish of Metter and Billy Parrish of Albany; and three 
sisters, Mary Lee Peters of Sylvester, Lillie May Aycock of Dearing, GA, and 
Minnie Smith of Poulan.

Mr. Parrish will lie-in-state at his residence from Wednesday at noon until 
Thursday at noon.
