Catherine Rogers Patterson 

SYLVESTER — Catherine Rogers Patterson, 92, of Scooterville died July 24, 2007 
at Magnolia Manor South Nursing Center in Moultrie. Funeral services will be at 
3 P.M. Friday at Pine Forest Baptist Church with interment in the church 
cemetery. Rev. Roy Carroll and Rev. Norris Hodges will be officiating. 

Mrs. Patterson was born June 1, 1915 in Gadsden Co. FL. to the late Benjamin 
and Catherine Poythress Rogers. She married the late William Alfred Patterson, 
Sr. on July 1, 1932 in McClenny, FL. She lived in Worth Co. most of her life 
and was owner & operator of Patterson Trading Company, 1942 until 1982 and was 
a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, gardening and 
reading. 

Survivors include a daughter, Norma Jean Henderson of Scooterville, a son in 
law, Harold E. Sikes of Scooterville, grandchildren, Patt, Franklin and 
Cornelius Patterson, Terri Brown, Traci Williams,Tammy Hogan and Michelle 
Hastings, ten great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Her 
special friend Sarah Sledge and a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and 
nephews. 

The family will receive friends Thursday, 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. 

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Patterson was preceded in death by 
a son, William Alfred (Billy) Patterson, Jr. and by a daughter, Frances P. 
Sikes.
