Betty Lee Jenkins-Polite

ALBANY — Betty Lee Jenkins-Polite, 69, of Cherry Avenue died Tuesday, December 
3, 2002, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Arcadia Baptist Church in Albany 
with interment in Antioch Baptist Church cemetery. Elder Randy Polite will 
officiate.

A native of Worth County, Mrs. Jenkins-Polite was a homemaker. She attended 
Monroe High School and was a member of Zion Grove Baptist Church of Albany.

Survivors include one daughter, Bonnie Polite-Hoke of Atlanta; three sons, 
Dennis Polite Jr., Elder Randy Polite and Michael Polite, all of Albany; three 
sisters, Carlene Woods and Georgia Carey, both of Albany, and Annie Pearl 
Jordan of Hackensack, N.J.; one brother, Minister Charlie Jenkins of Albany; 11 
grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
