Bill Frank Powell Sr.

ALBANY — Bill Frank Powell Sr., 82, of Albany died Saturday, October 5, 2002.

The funeral service will be held today, 2 PM at Central Baptist Church with 
interment to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Edd Spurlock will 
officiate.

A native of Newnan, GA, Mr. Powell had lived in Albany for the past 38 years. 
He was a member of Central Baptist Church and the Crusaders Sunday School 
Class. He was in building maintenance at the church for 17 years. A veteran of 
WW II, Mr. Powell served in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by 
his wife, Agnes D. Powell.

Survivors include his sons, William P. Powell of Dallas, Texas, Warren D. 
Powell of Anderson, S.C., B. Frank Powell Jr. of Grayson, GA, and Joel T. 
Powell of Albany; 9 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one brother, 
Asa Powell of Newnan, GA.

fund or the carpet fund, 1618 W. 3rd Ave., Albany, GA 31707.
