Richard Rambo

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Funeral services for Richard "Red" Rambo, 59, were held in 
Jacksonville, Fla., Tuesday, January 21, 2003, with burial in Greenlawn 
Cemetery.

Mr. Rambo died Friday, January 17, 2003, in Jacksonville, Fla. He was born 
August 22, 1943, in Jacksonville. He attended Jacksonville University where he 
played baseball. He then played professional baseball with both the Boston Red 
Sox and Minnesota Twins. Mr. Rambo was a member of the Elks Lodge and the 
American Legion.

Survivors include two sons, Richard Sean Rambo of Dallas, Texas, and Jason Todd 
Rambo of Raleigh, North Carolina; sister, Jackie Sheldon of Altamonte Springs, 
Fla.; brother, William (Bill) Rambo, formerly of Albany, now residing in 
Atlanta; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
