The funeral service of  Charles Clifford (Bubba) Rayburn, Jr., 67, of Dawson, 
GA who died Sunday August 5, 2007 at his residence, will be conducted Tuesday 
August 7 , 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Michael O’Neal, 
Rev. John Rayburn and Rev. James E. (Dink) Rayburn will officiate. Interment 
will follow in Riverside Cemetery.

A native of Randolph Co., GA. Mr. Rayburn had resided in Terrell County most of 
his life. He was a retired farmer and was a member of Gospel Light Baptist 
Church. Mr. Rayburn was preceded in death by a son, Richard Lynn Rayburn; his 
parents, Charles Clifford Rayburn, Sr. and Margie Brown Rayburn; a sister, 
Patricia Price and a brother, Lee Rayburn.

Survivors include his wife, Sara Etheridge Rayburn and a son, Charles Clifford 
Rayburn III both of Dawson; two sisters, Mary Hicks of Dawson and Elaine 
Shaffeur of Valdosta; three brothers, Rev. John Rayburn of Gainesville, GA, 
Rev. James E. (Dink) Rayburn of Soperton, GA and George Rayburn of Knoxville, 
GA.

The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Mathews 
Funeral Home.
