The Revs. Joe Dunn and Bonnie DeCuir will officiate. Mr. Rayburn died on Friday, December 27, 2002 at the Calhoun Nursing Home in Edison. The son of Clarence Andrew Rayburn Sr. and Beulah Rowena Patten Rayburn, he was born on October 22, 1918 in Lakeland, GA. Mr. Rayburn was a veteran of the Unites States Army, having served during World War II. He was a retired farmer and school bus driver for the Thomas County School System. He was married to Dorothy Lee Eddings Rayburn, who survives. Mr. Rayburn was a member of Salem Baptist Church. Other survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Stanley and Shirley Rayburn of Edison; a sister, Betty Jean Peters of Boston; three brothers, Elwood Rayburn of Brunswick, Carl Rayburn of Boston, and Wallace Rayburn of Augusta; two grandsons, Stan and Stacey Rayburn; and three great-grandchildren, Amanda Leigh Rayburn, Riley Jo Alice Rayburn and Colby Warren Rayburn. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m.-5 p.m. today (Sunday) at the funeral home.
