The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, 11 a.m. at Harvey Funeral Chapel, with Father John O'Brien officiating. Burial following service in Chickasawhatchee Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Spillers was born in Randolph County on February 11, 1928, daughter of the late James William Spillers and Jewel Vickery Spillers. She was a retired registered nurse and had worked in several area hospitals including Terrell County Hospital in Dawson and Sumter Regional in Americus. She also worked for a number of years at St. Joseph's Hospital in Augusta before joining the practice of Dr. Nathan Reeves her husband. They retired in 1984 and moved to Destin; Dr. Reeves died in 1991 and she continued to live there until her death. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Spillers Crawford. Survivors include a brother, James A. Spillers of Crestview, FL; brother-in- law, James Crawford Sr. of Fort Gaines; five nieces and nephews, Mary Ellen Gibson, James H. Crawford Jr., James A. Spillers Jr., William J. Spillers and locally, Anita Orosz of Albany; and seven great nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the Terrell County Humane Society, c/o Lucie Beeley, P.O. Box 389, Dawson, GA 39842.
