Dr. Michael C. Catt, Rev. John Hemken and Dr. Troy Kimsey will officiate. A private interment service will follow in Leesburg Cemetery. A native of Kosciusko, MS, David graduated from Winston Academy in Louisville, MS, in 1980. He continued his education on a football scholarship to East Central Jr. College and graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education. David and Kendyl moved to Albany and lived from 1986 until 1988 where David served as the first head football coach at Sherwood Christian Academy. David and his family returned to Albany fifteen years ago and he served as the district manager for Tap Pharmaceuticals. David was a member of Sherwood Baptist Church and The Cornerstone Sunday School Class. He was a member of The Sherwood Choir, The Praise Team and David, along with Kendyl, was teaching the 12th grade Sunday School Class. Survivors include his wife and three children, Kendyl Keys Reynolds, Rachel Elizabeth Reynolds, Taylor Faith Reynolds and David Reed Reynolds, all of Albany, GA; his parents, Harland and Linda Reynolds of Ethel, MS; a brother and his wife, Ladd and Dawn Reynolds of Starkville, MS; three sisters and their husbands, Melissa and Dewey Howell of Pelham, GA, Melody and Tod Lanier of Albany, GA, and Erin and Adam Rees of Jackson, MS, and his nieces and nephews, Matthew Reynolds, Nathan Lanier, Ali Shiver, Kyle Howell and Olivia Rees. Visitation will be held today (Thursday) from 9 a.m. until funeral time in the atrium of Sherwood Baptist Church.
