Joanne Frazier-Rivers

ALBANY — Joanne Frazier-Rivers, 43, of South Jefferson Street died Friday, 
October 4, 2002, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Monumental Faith Ministry in 
Albany with interment in Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Lee County. The 
Rev. Roosevelt Carter will officiate.

A native of Albany, Mrs. Frazier-Rivers was a sitter, private duty work. She 
was a graduate of Monroe High School and a member of Greater Pines Chapel 
Baptist Church in Albany.

Survivors include her husband, David Rivers Jr. of Albany; two daughters, 
Shanta Frazier-Teemer and Kimberly Frazier, both of Albany; one son, Tavious 
Beale of Albany; her mother, Gertrude Franklin of Albany; two sisters, Gloria 
Frazier and Linda Frazier, both of Albany; two brothers, James Franklin and 
Samuel Frazier, both of Albany; and six grandchildren.
