Floyd Robinson

DAWSON — Floyd Robinson, 76, of Mayhaw Pond Road, Dawson, died Friday, November 
8, 2002 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held today (Sunday) at Mount Mary Baptist Church, with 
burial in the church cemetery in Sasser. The Rev. Floyd Robinson Jr. will 
officiate.

Born on October 7, 1926 in Terrell County, Mr. Robinson was a barber and 
attended Terrell County Public Schools. He was a member of Mount Mary Baptist 
Church in Sasser, where he was chairman of the Deacon Board, also a member of 
Legal Aid, NAACP, and the Agriculture Service Agency.

Survivors include his six children, Carolyn (Ralph) Solomon, Floyd Jr. 
(Vivian), Douglas (Victoria), Gloria, Vivian (Farris) Yarbrough, Patrick (Leigh 
Ann); nine grandchildren, Daryl, Douglas, Niger, Keisha, Chris, Anya, Delaney, 
Latoya, and Patrick; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Levi Robinson Jr., 
(Idell); and one sister, Minnie Terry.
