Genevieve McCray Rouse 

ALBANY — Genevieve McCray Rouse, 73, of Murphy Dr., Fairborn, OH, died Monday, 
September 3, 2007 at Sweetwater Hospital in Sweetwater, TN. 

Funeral services where held on Sunday, September 9, at Chapel Hill Missionary 
Baptist Church in Baker County, with burial following service in Riverside 
Cemetery in Albany. The Rev. Jack Johnson officiated. 

Born on December 23, 1933 in Calhoun, AL, Mrs. Rouse was a homemaker and a 
member of Christ Cathedral Church in Dayton, OH. 

Survivors include her husband, Johnnie Rouse; one son, Edward (Cornelia) Rouse 
of Macon; six daughters, Willie Mae (Shelly) Strawder, Muriel Ann Rouse, Cathy 
(Ronald) Hartman and Terri (Felix) Jones, all of Albany, Geraldine (Robert) 
Johnson of Newton, and Mae (Troy) Cobb of Fairborn, OH, and Carolyn (Andrew) 
Wallace of Riverdale; 21 grandchildren, 18 great- grandchildren and one 
brother, Willie Fred McCray of Albany; and many nieces and nephews, other 
relatives and friends.
