Frankie Mae Barrow Hurt Shiver

ALBANY — The funeral service of Frankie Mae Barrow Hurt Shiver, 83, of 
Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Albany, GA, who died Wednesday, December 25, 
2002, will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, December 28, 2002, at Mathews Funeral 
Home. The Rev. Marion Sizemore will officiate. Interment will follow at Floral 
Memory Gardens.

A native of Dooly County, GA, Mrs. Shiver had lived in Albany since 1949 before 
moving to Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a homemaker and a member of the East Albany 
Baptist Church. Mrs. Shiver was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Hurt.

Survivors include a daughter, Gail Swindle of Melbourne, FL; a son, Frank Hurt 
of Tennessee; a sister, Shirley Stumph of Doylestown, PA; three grandchildren; 
three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday at the 
funeral home.
