Gilbert Glover Simmons Jr.

ALBANY — Gilbert Glover Simmons Jr., 36, of Jacksonville, FL, formerly of 
Albany, died Monday, December 30, 2002. His family will receive friends at 
Kimbrell-Stern Thursday from 6 p.m.- 7:30 p.m. His remains were cremated.

A native of Albany, Gil had lived in Jacksonville 10 years. He attended schools 
in Albany and graduated from Deerfield Windsor School. He attended Valdosta 
State University. Gill was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert G. Simmons 
and Kitty Royal Simmons.

Survivors include his wife, Kelly Simmons of Jacksonville, FL; a brother, Adam 
Simmons of Albany; a sister, Rolanda S. Miller and her husband Dennis of Vero 
Beach, FL; and a nephew, Dalton Miller.
