Michael Deane Slaymaker

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — Michael Deane "Mike" Slaymaker, age 62, of St. Augustine, 
died Friday, August 11, 2006, at Flagler Hospital. He was born in Alexandria, 
VA, and was a longtime resident of Albany, GA. He had resided in St. Augustine 
since early this year, moving here from Destin, FL. Mr. Slaymaker worked as a 
chemical engineer for Merck Pharmaceutical Company for over 30 years.

Private services will be held.

Memorial contributions can be made to: The Pavilion at Bay View, St. Johns 
County Welfare Federation, 161 B Marine Street, St. Augustine, FL 32084.

Mr. Slaymaker is survived by a daughter, Margaret Buttram of Centerville, OH; 
sons, Michael Deane Slaymaker II of Albany, GA, Christopher Lopatin Slaymaker 
of Athens, GA; a brother, Van Slaymaker of Alexandria, VA; and 2 grandchildren.
