William Earl Smith

MOULTRIE — William Earl Smith, 77, of 6th St., S.E., Moultrie, died Friday, 
December 20, 2002 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center, Moultrie.

Funeral services will be held today (Sunday), 2 p.m. at Cobb Funeral Chapel, 
with burial in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Ray Jenkins will 
officiate.

Pallbearers are as followed: Raymond Bland, Ralph Dorminey, Jimmy Davis, J.M. 
Gaines, Gordon Dean and Horace Thompson.

Born May 29, 1925 in Lakeland, FL, Mr. Smith was the son of the late Jennie 
Hancock Smith and William Oris Smith. He was a retired farmer. He was a member 
of Calvary Baptist Church. He was a member of the Woodmen of the World for 51 
years and received his 50 year pin.

Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Marie S. McLendon and her 
husband, J.F. of Albany; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held today (Sunday) from 1 p.m.-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
