Uly C. Smith

ASHBURN — Uly C. Smith, 95, of Cherokee Drive, Albany, died Friday, December 
27, 2002, at his residence.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Luke Baptist Church in Ashburn 
with interment in Westview Memorial Cemetery. The Rev. James King will 
officiate.

A native of Jones County, Mr. Smith was born December 25, 1907. Mr. Smith was a 
lawn maintenance groundskeeper and was a member of St. Luke Baptist Church in 
Ashburn and served on the deacon board.

Survivors include a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and 
nephews.
