Katie Belle Taylor Solomon

ALBANY — The graveside service of Katie Belle Taylor Solomon, 90, of Rosedale 
Ave., who died Friday, November 1, 2002, will be conducted today (Sunday) at 2 
p.m. in Sunset Cemetery, Meigs, GA, the Rev. Bobby Moye will officiate.

A native of Thomas County, GA, Mrs. Solomon had lived in Albany since 1966. She 
was a retired ticket agent with the Trailways Bus Lines and a member of the 
Retired Trailways Employee Association. Mrs. Solomon was also a member of the 
First Baptist Church of Camilla and attended First Baptist Church of Albany. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Henry Solomon, parents, James 
Bryan and Miriam Sherman Taylor, sister, Leila Taylor Gordon and brother, James 
Thomas Taylor.

Survivors include, sons, Joe H. Solomon of Albany, Julius W. Williams of 
Gainesville, and Charles H. (Ducky) Williams of Cairo; a daughter, Evelyn M. 
Williams Olschner of Jacksonville, FL; and eight grandchildren, several great-
grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
