Walter O’Neal Stewart 

ALBANY — The graveside funeral service of Walter O’Neal Stewart, 82, of  Worthy 
St., Albany, who died Monday, October 15, 2007, at Phoebe Putney Memorial 
Hospital, will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. at Floral Memory Gardens 
Cemetery. Rev. Glen Robinson will officiate. 

A native of Beaumont, TX, Mr. Stewart had resided in Albany for the past thirty 
years moving here from Stanford, FL. He was a veteran of WW II and the Korean 
War serving in the Navy, he was a Life Member of the VFW Post {pound} 2785, a 
retired electronics technician with Procter and Gamble and of the Baptist 
faith. 

Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Stewart of Worth Co., GA; four sons, David 
Stewart of Seattle, WA, Lamar Sirmans of Sycamore, GA, Dave Sirmans and Paul 
Willoughby, both of Albany, GA; three daughters, Carla Eldridge of Jackson, TN, 
Debbie Smith of Sylvester, GA, Barbara Raby of Worth Co., GA; a sister, Sybil 
Provost of Seattle, WA; seventeen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. 

In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorials to SOWEGA Council on 
Aging, 1105 Palmyra Rd., Albany, GA 31701 or Lutheran Services of Georgia, 1327 
W. Broad Ave., Albany, GA 31701.
