Frances Walden Summerford

ALBANY — Frances Walden Summerford, a former resident of Albany, GA, entered 
into eternal rest with her family by her side on Thursday, December 19, 2002 in 
Houston, TX.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Earnest "Kat" Summerford and 
granddaughter, Marcia Phillips Abergel.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Fran Summerford; 
grandchildren, Monya Churchill, Robin Frederick, Lori Smith and Larry Phillips; 
great-grandchildren, Courtney Klecka, Shannon Frederick, Chase Frederick, Paige 
Abergel and Taylor Churchill; a brother, Henderson C. Walden; and numerous 
nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, at Covenant 
Presbyterian Church with the Revs. Dr. Paul E. Luthman, Dr. William D. "Biff" 
Coker and Timothy Olds officiating with interment to follow in Riverside 
Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer 
Society.
