Billy Gordon Summerford Jr.

ALBANY — The graveside service of Billy Gordon Summerford Jr., 49, of  
Leesburg, GA, who died Tuesday, January 28, 2003, at his residence will be held 
3 p.m. Thursday at Floral Memory Gardens. The Rev. Ken Chancellor will 
officiate.

A lifelong resident of Albany and Leesburg, Mr. Summerford was a welder 
supervisor with the Water Gas and Light Commission of Albany. He was of the 
Baptist faith and was a member of the N.R.A.

Survivors include his wife, Regina Harrison Summerford of Leesburg; two sons, 
Randall Summerford of Leesburg and Clint Summerford of Albany; two daughters, 
Nikki Summerford of Leesburg and Rachel Oliver of Leary; one stepdaughter, 
April McConnell of Leesburg; stepmother, Hellen Summerford of Greenville; 
stepbrother, Tim Hodges of Bowie, Texas; stepsister, Bonnie Winfrey of 
LaGrange; seven grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Mathews Funeral 
Home.
