The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Westminster Presbyterian Church with burial in Geneva City Cemetery. The Rev. William J. Swafford will officiate. A native of Brooks County, Mrs Stinson had resided in Albany for the past 47 years. She was a retired elementary school teacher, having taught at Geneva School and then at Highland Elementary School from 1949 to 1970. She was a member of Alpha Delta Kappa sorority, Eta Chapter, and was a charter member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, where she was a member and past president of the Presbyterian Women, a Sunday school teacher and a member of the Jet Set and Circle One. Survivors include a son, Lee McMurray Stinson of Albany; a daughter, Anne Stinson Porter of Tampa, Fl; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mathews Oaklawn Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
