Tyrone Victor Tift 

ALBANY — Tyrone Victor Tift, 46, of Harris Rd. died October 14, 2007, at Phoebe 
Putney Memorial Hospital. 

The funeral will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday at Berachah Fellowship Church with 
interment in St. James Baptist Church cemetery. Minister Akey Aheim will 
officiate. 

Born May 14, 1961, in Trenton, NJ, Mr. Tift was educated at Trenton Centrel 
High School and Mercer County Community College. He was a member of Jerusalem 
Baptist Church in Trenton, NJ. 

Survivors include his mother, Veola Cook; five brothers, Willie Cook of Albany, 
Akey Aheim, Larry Tift, Ozzie Tift and Gregory Tift of Trenton, NJ; two 
sisters, Debra Tift, Brenda (Frederick, Sr.) Hoagland of Trenton, NJ; four god-
brothers, James (Sheila) Royal Sr., Cleveland Heading, Stephen (Brenda) 
Robinson, Greg (Linda) Hill; eight god sisters, Valerie (George) Spaulding of 
Trenton, NJ, Otehia Strong, Gloria Lee, Terri Figarow, April and Marsha Green, 
Patricia Neal of Trenton, NJ, and Vaness Ross of Atlanta; one godson, Jeffery 
Peppers Jr. of Trenton, NJ; one uncle, Arthur Lee Hayes of Tampa, FL; three 
aunts, Verda Mae (Arthur) McDonald, Bertha Mae Johnson and Maxidene Johnson; 
three grand aunts, Addie Bolden, Catherine James and Johnnie B. Mathis; a 
special friend, Juanita Ross.
