Connie L. Tompkins

ALBANY — Connie L. Tompkins, 75, of Oakfield, GA, died Monday, December 30, 
2002, at her home following an illness. Her funeral service will be held 
Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Teresa's Catholic Church. The Rev. Finbarr Stanton 
will officiate. Interment service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Lakewood Memorial 
Gardens in Rossville, GA.

A native of the Philippines, Mrs. Tompkins had live in Oakfield 11 years. She 
was a member of St. Teresa's Catholic Church and had been a member of the 
Knights of Columbus Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by two sons, Santiago 
Gamon and Agustin Gamon.

Survivors include her husband, James O. Tompkins of Oakfield, four daughters, 
Lou Stueck and her husband Greg of Oakfield, Elizabeth Macandog and her husband 
Jhun of Chicago, IL, Josephine Oneill and her husband Joseph of Virginia, 
Maricor Saliba and her husband Mick of Maryland; a son, Robert Gamon and his 
wife Violet of Chicago, IL; 30 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; 4 
sisters, Esther, Cynthia, Nena and Nitang.

A prayer service will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. with visitation to follow 
until 8:30 p.m.
