Earl C. Tompkins
Welder
Earl C. "Shorty" Tompkins, 70, of 110 Hunter St. died Friday at Phoebe
Putney Memorial Hospital.
A Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hall & Hall Funeral Home.
A native of Laurens County, Mr. Tompkins had lived in Albany since 1980. 
He was a retired welder and a Baptist.
Survivors include a daughter, Betsy Decker of Albany; a sister 
Jewel Connell of Sylvester; two brothers, Muriel C. Tompkins of Savannah 
and Norman E. Tompkins of Macon; and a grandchild
