Mildred Ward

ALBANY — Mildred Ward, 69, of Cotton Court, died Wednesday, October 23, 2002, 
at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Friendship Baptist Church 
with burial in Riverside Cemetery. The Rev. H.B. Johnson will officiate.

A native of Mitchell County, Mrs. Ward was a member of Friendship Baptist 
Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Wanda Ward Isaac of Jonesboro; son, Gerald Ward 
of Upper Marlboro, MD; daughter-in-law, Sara Denise Ward of Upper Marlboro, MD; 
three grandchildren, Gerald Ward Jr., Gavin Ward and Ashley Ward, all of Upper 
Marlboro, MD; three sisters, Ollie Mae Carr, Novella Nixon and Arcie Ola 
Whitfield, all of Camilla; two brothers, Oliver Gene Gilbert and Elmore Gilbert 
Jr., both of Miami, FL.
