Annie Doris Webb-Holmes

ALBANY — Annie Doris Webb-Holmes, 63, of  Aristedes Road died Thursday, October 
24, 2002, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 
in Albany with interment in Riverside Cemetery in Albany. Brother Nelson Ware 
will officiate.

A native of Early County, Mrs. Webb-Holmes was a homemaker. She attended Tift 
Street School in Albany and was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Her memory will be cherished by her husband, Willie C. Holmes of Albany; one 
sister, Lillie M. McDowell of Albany; five children, Shirley Williams (Milton) 
of Jonesboro, Rossia Rodriquez (Octavius) of Griffin, Jacqueline Hall (Russell) 
of Tampa, Fla., Mattie James (Roosevelt) of Albany, Tommy Holmes (Tracey) of 
Albany; two stepsons, Willie C. Holmes (Patricia) of Albany, also Charles 
Holmes of Albany; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and a host of 
nieces, nephews and friends.

The remains of Mrs. Webb-Holmes will lie-in-state at Kingdom Hall Saturday from 
1 p.m. until the funeral hour.
